| Bill Summary | The object of the Bill is to repeal and re-enact the Cinematograph Act (Cap. 60:02) to, amongst other things, cater for — (a) establishment of a Film Commission, which shall be a body corporate capable of suing and being sued, and performing such acts as body corporates may by law, perform; (b) establishment of a Board of the Commission, powers and functions, tenure, removal from office, the remuneration and allowances of the members, the election of the members, meeting of the Board, quorum, and disclosure of interest, confidentiality and the committees of the Board; (c) the appointment of the staff of the Commission, including the Chief Executive Officer and the Secretary and appointment of other staff; and (d) the financial provisions of the Commission. |
